Brady and I spent Monday morning at Lost in Fun, where he discovered the fun that is the Moon Bounce. There was giggling, jumping, and screaming for joy. He also managed to fall in love with this little car, which of course cost me a quarter every time he wanted to ride. I only had 50 cents, so it didn't last long.

We were at Antelope Park on Tuesday morning, and Brady could hear the little train that goes around the zoo. After convincing him that he couldn't run there (but not for lack of his trying!), I decided that we should just go take a ride. He didn't stop saying "Choo choo!" all day long.

I took this picture while I was driving back to work after dinner on Wednesday night (don't worry-- I was stopped at a light). It's been a week of crazy clouds.

The ducks that live around our local trail are clearly very used to being fed. They surround you as soon as you make any motion of coming toward the water, and they have almost zero fear of people-- they'll even eat from your hand. Brady tries to put some of that healthy fear back in them by running after them screaming "DUCK!"

I forgot to take a picture on Friday (I know-- I'm a slacker, right?), so I'll give you 2 of the many, many photos we took on Saturday. Expect a full post on our little trip later, but for now I give you these teasers...
(The first one is courtesy of the random farmer who happened to know how to use our Cannon-- how cool is that?)

Saturday's adventures resulted in a serious overabundance of peaches. I made peach almond muffins Saturday night, and Sunday night I decided to try a no-bake peach pie. Something went wrong, though, because it just never really set. This is after Barb and I each had a piece. It tastes pretty darn good... but just isn't very pretty.
